The project consisted of a complete electrical installation for a 60,000 square foot process building comprised of the following processes that provide 300,000 liters of Sake per year; rice polishing, washing and steeping, KOJI storage, Sake storage, fermentation, pressurizing/setting, pasteurization, blending, bottling and filling. Project also included a 10,000 sqaure foot visitor’ and administration building.
The electrical work included furnishing and installing switchgear, feeders, motor control centers, panelboards, lighting, power, fire alarm, paging, security, cable tray, telephone, lightning protection, grounding, control and process wiring, motor wiring, conveyor systems, instrumentation and instrument calibration on a fast track construction schedule.
The process plant is fully controlled by a state-of-the-art computerized Yokagawa Digital Control System (DCS).
