The Center for Astrophysics and Space Astronomy (CASA) building is dedicated to advancing the understanding of the Universe in which we live through observations, theory, and the development of ground-based and space-bourne instrumentation.

The existing clean room needed to remain operational during the process which was a complete overhaul of the service entrance and switchgear as well as relocating a vacuum chamber with a cryogenic generator that simulates the atmosphere and temperature of space.
