A Design Build project, this Biotechnologies Building is a five (5) story laboratory and education facility located on the University of Colorado at Boulder.  The 330,000 sq. ft. facility houses science, humanities and engineering disciplines and is designed to foster inter-disciplinary communication and interaction between faculty and students.  This initial project, Phase 1, provides Biotech Research Laboratories for the Colorado Initiative in Molecular Biotechnology, a vivarium, shared research core facilities, a data center, an auditorium, public spaces and building support services.  This building has a ground level and 3 to 4 elevated laboratory levels depending on the building wing, and a mechanical level at the top.

This project was built to LEED® Platinum and is pending certification from USGBC.
