The Design-Build project included a complete renovation of an historic structure into a Flagship Retail Outlet for REI.  The building originally built in 1901, served as the power plant for the Denver Tramway Company.

The 80,000 sq. ft. renovation required careful design and installation of electrical systems while maintaining the historic features of the building.

The environmentally conscious project also included the design and implementation of a compact fluorescent lighting system.  The lighting system is tied into an energy management computer system that reads the natural light coming into the building and adjusts the amount of fluorescent lighting needed.
