Scottsdale Water Treatment facility processes 70mgd, from the Colorado River, via the Central Arizona Project (CAP).  This project includes the expansion of the Scottsdale CAP Water Treatment Facility to increase the water filtration facilities capacity by 20mgd, the addition of a new potable water reservoir and facility upgrades including:
