This plant is a 68mgd water pumping facility.

Located above Divide, CO at 9000′ elevation the pump station delivers water through the pipeline that runs from Twin Lakes to Rampart Reservoir near Colorado Springs, 100 miles away.

The new building includes a 9,920 sq. ft. pump level and a 3,890 sq. ft. first floor.

In order to Pump 6 mgd of water the pump station required:

Four 2000HP, 4.16KV pumps

Pumps controlled by four 2000 HP, 4160V-6000V adjustable frequency drive units fed from four 250 KVA, 34.5 KV4.16KV transformers.
