The project consisted of a new five-story engineering and bio-medical research building at the University of Denver. The 150,000 SF University of Denver engineering lab building had to be flexible. This facility provides 60,000 SF of state-of-the-art laboratory and research spaces and 5,000 SF of high tech classroom space. The building also provided the faculty with 30,000 SF of modern office space filled with the latest and greatest Audio-Visual Equipment. The 40’ high domed event space is illuminated by a cluster of pendant fixtures hanging 20’ down from a sky lit wood slat and stone ceiling. This space has an independent lighting control system.
