The building houses the digital broadcasting equipment for channels 4, 7, 9 and 20.  The work included duct banks for power and voice/dta to the building and network cables and power to the satellite dish yard.  The building is served by a 3000A service and a 3000A generator distribution board selectively backed up by two 1500KW generators.  All station distribution boards have two sources of power normal and generator to allow for maintenance without disruption of power.  Some of the Stations power is also backed up with flywheel 150 and 300KVA UPS systems.  Power is also provided to the vault building to support the tower.  Cable tray was provided for all station cabling.
