Data Center Expansion project which added capacity and redundancy to the system, as well as buildout of raised data floor network power. For the raised data floor (56) RPPs and 1,402 power whips were installed, with associated branch power monitoring. The UPS-J expansion was more substantial, consisting of one (1) 1500 KVA 15K/480V unit substation backed up with three (3) 500 KW UPS systems with associated battery strips. Medium voltage CB’s were added to existing live switchgear, along with reprogramming of the PLC software interlocking scheme to support new switchgear. A new hydrogen monitoring system was installed on all new and existing battery rooms. Power monitoring systems were updated and upgraded. Twenty six (26) MOPS were written and executed to accomplish this complex project.
